It is summer again at Scream Agency which means it is time for a new group of interns! We have had some fantastic interns in the past and are so excited to have new fresh faces joining our team.
Haley is a Denver native, currently studying at the University of Oklahoma majoring in public relations with a business minor. We asked her a few “get to know you” questions and here is what she had to say:
What are you hoping to gain from your internship experience at Scream Agency?
I am really excited to expand my understanding of PR within an agency setting. I am hoping to gain experience in many areas including writing, managing social accounts, and media interaction. As I head into my senior year of college, I am thrilled that I have this summer to really dive deep into PR, learn as much as I can, and hopefully come out more prepared to step into a professional role after graduation!
What is your favorite thing to do outdoors?
I love to hike. I actually hiked my first fourteener last summer with my little brother, and I am planning on completing my second this summer!
What is your favorite food?
Any and all types of pasta!
What is your Myers Briggs personality type?
ESFP – Entertainer.
What’s the biggest decision you’ve had to make in the past year? Why was it so big?
The biggest decision I have had to make in the past year was my decision to study abroad last summer. I am extremely close with my family and friends in Denver so it was tough to give up most of my summer with them but I had an incredible experience. I am so grateful that I had the chance to go abroad and for all I learned while I was there!
What are three things we don’t know about you?
- I am a born and raised Denver native and attend school at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!)
- I have an English golden retriever named Benson who I love more than life
- I spent the majority of last summer studying abroad in Italy where my class worked on new marketing campaign for local jewelry company, Lebole.
Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck, or 100 duck-sized horses?
I think I would prefer 100 duck-sized horses, solely because the thought of a horse-sized duck really really freaks me out.
