As a B Corp, Scream Agency recognizes that the world needs to be equitable for everyone. And, in the pursuit to be change agents, we’re listening and educating ourselves in order to further understand where we can make change as individuals and as an organization. This year, our goals are to listen, discuss, read and process content and information to see how we can move our learnings into action — not just during Black History Month, but every month.
Here is a recap of what we’ve been doing:
WHAT WE’RE PUTTING INTO ACTION
- Signed as one of the founding companies the Colorado Companies Uniting Against Racism pledge and promoted it to others.
- Shared and participated in The University of Colorado Leeds MBA Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee’s #BeTheChange Challenge.
- Worked with Equity Labs at the University of Denver to further shape strategy, creative and messaging to help catalyze change. Learn more about the work at an upcoming session on “Exploring the Meaning of Equity in the Workforce”. You can register here.
- Signed the WeTheChange pledge to commit to creating a radically inclusive and richly regenerative global economy.
- Signed and implemented TimeToVote and volunteered for Get Out The Vote (GOTV) for the Georgia Senate Runoff Race to reduce voter suppression and to reach under-represented voters.
- Served as a committee lead and volunteered hundreds of hours for the B Local Changemakers Coalition partnership work on DEI and environmental sustainability. Hear one of the speakers here.
- Volunteered on the B Local Board guiding social impact and PR for the local B Corp community.

We’ve updated our hiring procedures and descriptions and we’ve reached out to diverse partners such as Black Girl Group to learn more about how we can hire multicultural creatives.
- We’re putting together an on-the-job work study program in order to help train underserved individuals.
Scream Agency acknowledges that while so much work has been done in the past, we have a long way to go. This work must never stop and we need to keep fighting for those who have been left without a voice, or left behind. So, please join us in standing up against the injustice in the world so that there can be equal access for all.
In Solidarity,
Scream Agency
