I’m not going to lie here… I’m OBSESSED with fall. I’ve already had to cut back my Pumpkin Spice Latte consumption from four times a week to one. I’ve purchased enough fall-scented candles to light my way through the zombie apocalypse and already picked out my Halloween costume. So of course I jumped at the opportunity to ask the rest of the Scream Agency Team about what they’re looking forward to this fall.
Although fall in Colorado inevitably means snow is just around the corner, there are plenty of things to celebrate until then. Scream Agency couldn’t be more excited to enjoy all that fall in Colorado has to offer from picking pumpkins to spiked cider.
Katie told me she gets into the fall state of mind by checking out the Corn Maze at The Botanic Gardens at Chatfield, complete with hayrides and cooler temps than the city. “That is until I’m lost and start panicking that I’ll be forced to live amongst (and off of) the corn in the middle of Chatfield forever,” she said.
While Lora said she’s excited to ride the tractor wagon and get bags full of organic fall vegetables with the kids at Miller Farms, Robyn used the chance to brag about the fact that George Washington High School won their Homecoming game against Niwot, meaning she’s looking forward to more beautiful nights watching high school football while curled up under a blanket with hot cocoa in hand.
For Gem, fall means wearing cable knit cardigans and watching the leaves change colors. Amy, after my own heart, told me she’s looking forward to football, pumpkin patches, and Halloween.
While I’m obsessing over the changing leaves, sweater weather at last and my ever-growing collection of Halloween decorations, I am particularly looking forward to visiting Anderson Farms to pick out the perfect pumpkin to carve for Halloween.
